I am a former flat track racer that found out about the races this weekend at the waco 1/2 mile. I'm not one to normally complain, but I wanted to share my experience with whoever operates the track and ultimately VDTRA to hopefully improve the information access. The information on the VDTRA website says only the date and the Waco 1/2 mile. No times, no directions, no phone number, nothing to go on to find out when and where the races are. I FINALLY found this website and had to register just to find out what time the races start! I would love to see flat track racing continue and maybe even thrive in Texas again, but dang! One shouldn't have to work so hard just to find out when the races are! Most would have given up before finding the information. I almost did...and I REALLY wanted to know! It would be helpful to have more information so we CAN preserve our form of racing for the future. I'm done griping now!

Though I'm not a flat tracker, flat track is a big part of our club. I too am shocked that there is no information on the VDTRA website and I will advise Glenn (the VDTRA races is his baby). I make sure all the information supplied to me is posted on here and our main website ( wacoeaglesmc.com ) I guess the VDTRA assumes that everyone knows where we are but as you and I know, that's not always the case. I will copy and paste your post over on to the VDTRA forum so they can be made aware. Thanks for taking the time to inform me. Jeff
