Ive been riding at waco eagles for a while now but recently over the past 3 months ive been going to several other tracks such as whitney, corsicana, village, oak hill, freestone. Well recently at corsicana I heard waco is suppost to be getting alout of dirt to redo the whole track, whitch then might make waco a nice track. Waco needs decent dirt to have a decent track. The track needs to be built more technical, most grandmas can ride that track. thats one of the good things about corsicana, its technical and fun, and when you fall down you dont loose all of your skin. Key factor get dirt,make it more technical,more people will come if you then try and maintain the track {PLOW}

The WEMC track is intended for all skill levels, and is a Family oriented CLUB. We have nearly 400 members, most of which, enjoy casual fun riding. The dirt at WEMC is great for a low maintenance environment, requiring little or no upkeep for a much longer period of time than a prepped track. We are currently making major changes to the track, but, using different dirt is not one of the changes. Perhaps, later down the line, we will have the resources necessary to prep the track all the time, but, not right now. You should come by and check it out for yourself at our next Club MX Race, on March 19th. Don't be skirred!

What prompted my wife and I to join WEMC was the fact that the track is NOT intimidating. Looking at race results over the past year or two, I noticed how big youth racing is there. That is a good enough reason to keep the track like it is on the skill level side. You want technical?, load up and camp out at 3 palms in conroe for the weekend. WHen you get done and are rested up, come out to waco and enjoy riding without the stress! My wife and I do and we hope that things stay like they are. Can it use better jumps, yes, but not at the expense of punking out the young ones and the women. I can race anywhere, but I enjoy riding at waco.

Kingding, I normally wouldn't respond to such nonsense, but you have hit a nerve. What is the necessity of dissing the Waco track and its members. All I can say is if you like 3 Palms, Village Creek, etc. by all means, go there. I don't know if it brings you personal satisifaction to slam our track, but we have over 300 other members who would disagree with you. I have been a member for over three years and am active in the club. I have seen the club grow over the years and expect it to grow even more. Maybe when the track work is completed you will have a change of heart. If I knew your real name, I would be curious to see as club membership president your renewal fee (if you are a member) come to my mail box. If you choose to race with us this Sunday, please stop by the tower and introduce yourself. No grudges here.

When I go to other tracks I never see any waco riders, and thats because ""yall"" simply never go to any other place. And if your going to be in a sport you dont hafe ''''' IT>> I think you'd be surprised to know where our members ride. Adam Mennenga is a member and calls Waco his home track as well as his favorite, he alone has ridden more tracks than I can imagine since he's done supercross and arenacross. Speaking of supercross, did you know that we have two vet riders that races supercross? Just ask Edward or Ross what it's like to race in the old Astrodome. Myself, I enjoy Cooperland in Oklahoma but also enjoy Cycle Ranch, Whitney, Village, I miss Mosier Valley and Lakeside. Cross Creek is nice but again so is Del Valley. Can't say as I've ever been to three palms but I have been to Nacona and Badlands. Burleson is usefull when it comes to improving your skills on the ground and in corners. Ya see there are some of us that do make several of the other tracks and go quite a distance to do so. Funny thing is that I almost always go with several of our Waco members or at least see them there. I'll just fill you in on a little Waco history. Twice that I know of Waco has dug out the dirt on our tracks and hauled in sand to replace the hard pack. Over time, between the wind, rain and roost, all the "good dirt" has blown away. There is no way to replace enough dirt to maintain a soft plush track at Waco because eventually is will wear through exposing the black land underneath. Now if we only opened a couple of times a week and charged $15 for every rider that came through the gate plus $30 per race, it would be practical to have a plush track. Since we are a "club" for motorcycle enthusiests and host races once a month as a courtesy, we have to make do with what we have. No one at our club draws a salary and all work is volunteer. Every bit of income the club brings in is spent to maintain what we have in a fashion that allows us to make the place affordable to everyone.

Lets see the Flea has been to Diamond W in Alverado, Freestone, Village Creek, Cross Creek, Crooked Creek, Belton Arena Cross, Waco Arena Cross, Splendora, Swan, Lindale, Austin Arena Cross, Burleson, Corsicana, and more. He is just 9. Funny thing is I don't see those riders coming to Waco. When we Waco Eagles riders gang up and show up at a race, we generally win or at least place in most of the classes. That is a fact. Odds are if you win at Waco, you will do well at other places. It may be that showing up at Waco and getting your Hat handed to you is embarrasing. Come to Waco and race with us, if our fast riders show up, you will have all you can handle and more, I don't care what class you ride in. In fact I have 10 dollars says that, if you come to Waco, I will name an Eagles Rider that will beat you in any class you ride in Pro on down to 50cc.

As far as where our group rides, Village, Badlands, Burleson, Cross Creek, Whitney, VP in good ol' SA. All of these tracks are great in their own way. However, when it comes to real family fun there is absolutely no place like Waco Eagles. In my view and with a mear 35 yrs of riding under my belt all over this great state, Waco Eagles is the crowned jewel of Texas. The people are friendly, kind, and courteous. My 9 yr old is in great hands with the folks at Waco. I would not say that about other tracks. I do not mean anything about safety, I am talking values and respect. Maybe when this kiddo grows up a bit, he will realize what Waco is all about. Until then, I don't think WE will be at a loss if this youngster does not show up. Although, there are a few kiddo's at WE that I am sure could stifle his comments with their riding abilities. Like mentioned in another post, stop by and say hello. I really wanna see ya ride? Dont be skeered! ;D PS. I will double the $10 Daddyflea offers, and raise it to wager a member in the class below what you ride will smoke ya!! I am sure some of the Vets wont mind if you run in our class, just for fun ya know???

Mr. King Ding, it sounds as though you have been riding at our track for some time and find it beneath your skill level? Why did you join and become a member, or did you? Have you entered in any of the races held there, or helped with any of the track upkeep, maintenance, or race preparations? How many "new" friends have you made there? Do you go to the monthly club meetings at Poppa Rollos, to voice your complaints about our track condition?
I would like to know who you are and see you ride. Maybe I can learn from your expertise, and in return, I can teach you how to SPELL!

Well, OK. Let's take it easy here. This guy is only 18, a little immature, and can't be too experienced. So let's give him a break.
But, we could make a challenge....
Maybe, let the dink race against one of our really old guys, just to give him a chance.
Dink can't lose, he's too talented, right? The old guy can't win, he's too, well...old.
Sure would be embarrassing to get beat by a grandpa, though.
...just a thought.
C'mon kingding, no reason to be rude on the forum. The members at Waco are genuinely good people who would loan you their car if you needed one. We all know the dirt is not the best, but the people, the racing, and the fun is on top of the podium!
I invite you to race with us this Sunday, April 16th. No need to introduce yourself as kingding, just come by and get to know us.
See you Sunday, ~Tony~

King Ding Cycle Pop is already trying to cheat you.
If you are 18 and he is proposing to get someone a class under that means you would have to go against Michael Kasberg or Jason Rich they are both younger but I am willing to bet they can make it around the track. Jason just had surgery on his wrist but he looked pretty good skimming the whoops with that bad wrist.
If you go older then you have Ed Hays he usually rides over 40 and rarely practices but he can make it around the track as well.
Since none of us knows him, he might have trouble with the 65s. Little 9 year old Matt Gerik or the Flea might be tough on their 65s as long as they don't take each other out on the start like they did last race. Austin Brem is no slow poke either.
In the 85s we have mostly beginners like Garrett Saulters, Cody Kipp, or Bubba or Harley Jones but they can get around the track.
In fact little Dillion from Whitney on his 50 would be tough for a beginner on a 125.
Two races ago when we pulled up at Corsicana the little boys there on their brand new 2006 race bikes were talking all kinds of noise to the Flea who was riding around on his well used 01 KX.
That stopped as soon as he almost lapped 2nd place and did lap the rest.
We have some fast riders make no mistake about that. They may or may not show up at various races but when they do Look out.

Forget about kingding. I'm sure he's so fast and the new whoops are a waste of time for him. He's a punk kid how's got less time on this earth than most of us do racing and riding. It's just easier to disregard his babble and stay the course without letting him have any of your time.
