I heard 65s will no longer ride the back part. Can someone tell me why we are not voting on this? Last race we had only one parent who did not want to run the back and he gripes about everything regardless of what is decided.

There will be Flat track races going on the same day as the MX race in April, so MX races will be ran on the A track only. Number of laps to be announced at the riders meeting. This will give us more time to work on the short cut cutting out the woods on the B track for the May race. I hope we have a great turn out like the last one.

Have the number of laps been decided on yet or will it be announced at the riders meeting? I'm for 5 or 6 laps but would like to know so I can practice a whole race. The A track takes a little more out of you when you don't have the B side to relax some.

In case I don't make work day. I sprayed all the A side track weeds again and most of the visible parts of B side. By this Saturday the weeds should just be beginning to die. I did not remember to put the new class on the computer.

Anybody know what is on the agenda for Saturday's work day? Track looks good, and thanks to Danny's spraying, it doesn't look like much weed eating is needed. Also, how will the gate work this weekend? I know they are running on the flat track. What if you just want to come and ride on the motocross track. One more thing, Paula do you and Mike need help with sign ups or anything this Sunday? I am willing to help in any way.

Sorry to say, but anyone that wants to ride Sat will have to pay the gate fee. The flat track race is an AMA race and the insurance is very costly, therefore everyone on the property will pay and sign the release form. We try hard not to overlap races, but sometime it just doesn’t work out. Besides… if you haven’t seen flat tracking, you need too. It's cool. Mike and I will be camping Sat night because he’s going to do some flat tracking too. "Knobble" class. I encourage any AMA member that rides MX and wants to give it a try flat tracking come on out. We need 4 to make a knobby class. On Sunday there will be two lines at the gate. One for the flat track and another for the MX race. We've done it before, it'll work. Yes Jeanine your help is welcome. You did a wonderful job in March. Mike's not going to race, he found it was too difficult to race and keep up with everything else. My oldest daughter (scorekeeper) will be going to the Nascar race. I have someone to replace her, but if she doesn’t show I will need a little help. I feel we will have another great race. Thanks to you all that work to make it possible. You are VERY appreciated.

;D UPDATE! Just talked with Glenn and he said they wont be starting the Flat track races Sat till 7:30 PM. SO.... you can come out and spend the day working or riding without paying the gate fee. BUT... If you are wanting to stay later than 7:30 you will be asked to pay up. I will be out there and was asked collect the gate fees from thoses who wish to stay. Like I said, it's going to be fun to watch the races under lights for the first time. I'm excited!

Glad to hear you won't have to pay unless you stay. We plan on coming out for the work day, get a little bit of riding in and then go home for a while before we do return for the Saturday night flat track races. We are curious as we have never attended. What is the gate fee for the flat track races?

$10.00 and well worth it. May have enough entries for the knobby class, but still wanting AMA MX riders to convert over to the flat track. JUST FOR THE WEEKEND, then we want them back! Sundays flat track race starts after lunch sometime.

Another note. I had been working on an announcer to help Glenn on Sunday but he's not going to be able to make it. I haven't informed Glenn yet (but I will) so if anyone knows someone that can announce the flat track races on Sunday, send them forward.
