Here is some verbage on the 150 from some folks that race these things in the big time events.
This is the same problem I saw in 04' when Suzuki/Kawasaki came out with the 250f. 2-stroke riders running 4-stroke like 2-strokes and they dont like that. They like to be short shifted and although the rev limiter sounds cool, it does the valve train no good.
Also this is the second rumor of a recall I have heard. You 150f owners need to call your dealer and see??
Not bashing the 150, just waiting on a yellow one to come out, and Gage to fine tune his riding skills on a 2-stroke before he ventures to a 4-stroke.

just a question
you dont think gage would learn the 150 very fast ?
i have tryed to ride both 2 strokes and 4 strokes and i have learned the the 4 strokes are more manageable over the jumps to me
the 2 strokes have the sudden burst of power and the 4 strokes have a smooth power stroke so you can just roll on the gas

I actually can turn a faster lap on a 2-stroke. The problems is I run out of steam really quick. You have to work your butt off on a 2-stroke, but I feel it makes you a better technical rider. Plus I just sank $7000 in 2 85's with the suspension and mods. It will be a while before we buy anthoer scooter. Gotta move coming!
However, it is inevitable we will all be on 4-strokes in the near future.
Nothing will happen until they get these 4-strokes a bit more reliable.
Just got this off of Mototalk, which came from a individual that works at a Honda dealer

Nothing wrong with Honda, thats just about all I rode back in the 60's. 70's & 80's. We just do not have a decent Honda dealer here in DFW. Yamaha-Suzuki West, has taken care of us and offered rider support for quite some time. They actually asked us to ride Suzuki.
Plus Yellow just looks Bad A$$! If I was not on Suzuki's, we would probably be ridin' red.
Wish I had some of my ol' scooters back!
1968 Honda Z50 1971 Honda SL70 1973 Honda XR75 (First Race Bike) 1977 Honda Elsinore CR125M1 1980 Honda Elsinore CR250R 1984 Yamaha YZ250 (When they were Yellow) 1986 Maico MStar 250 (First hair scrambles bike) 1990 Honda CR500 (Flat Tracker)
And of course I now have a 94' Honda CBR600F2 Road race bike!
