Hey yous guys, when you get a chance ask Curtis about how the games are going. Our Pudgy little players are still undefeated. Last game the other team gave up before the game started even though all their players were there. Game before that we won with our second string using the mercy rule. (No passing or sweeps just running between the tackles.)

Your players are going to start getting a complex if you keep calling the "pudgy"! I bet they're more like lean, mean fighting machines!!

Your players are going to start getting a complex if you keep calling the "pudgy"! I bet they're more like lean, mean fighting machines!! They have been doing so many Up Downs they have gained muscle mass so they look pudgy according to some folks. Problem is they keep winning. We are very proud of them. Next game should really be interesting. Since they are already in the Play Offs, Curtis is going to let them choose some different spots to play. We may have lineman catching passes. That is one of our secrets we really have no second string. When second string is in we use the strengths of the different players to run totally different plays. These games have lately been very very lively. Even MommaFlea and GrandMaFlea was up yelling.

Just to let everyone know our pudgy little football team the Tri City Raiders have now finished the regular season play ___ Undefeated __________
PS The Coach of an Undefeated Football team should not be racing!!!!
Everyone let Curtis know he has really done a good job with those kids. We saw a little questionable tactics and soundly beat them anyway.

Well our Pudgy little guys finished their season in Temple this Saturday playing the Rodgers Indians at Woodson Field. The score was Raiders 32 and Rodgers 0. We had at least three Touchdowns called back and never got our points for recovering a Fumble in the End Zone. The referees were certainly biased, but we won anyway. The Raiders went 11-0 never losing a game all season including our Bowl games against much larger opponents. Some of the Rodgers players out weighed our Kids by at least 50 pounds or more and there were several of their players helped off the field. Our Kids proved they were the real thing.
Curtis and the Raiders players did an outstanding job this Season.
I will post a picture of team as soon as I can.

I wish our season went as well as yall's. Nothing to really brag about other than our boys played their hearts out all season. My son, Stevie, is in Kindergarden and this was his first year to play. Actually, it the first time for majority of his team. He was the youngest and littlest one on the freshman team. This was the first year we had a youth football program. My nephews Shane & Garrett played on the Senior teams. They didn't do too well either. We played towns like Tolar, Godly, Venus, Maypearl, and Glen Rose. Those boys in those towns must eat cornbread eveynight, LOL!!! They were some big boys. The freshman team started out with 16 players and finished with 10 in the last game. That's how bad it was. Every team we played someone got hurt. I know that's how it goes sometimes. I guess we'll have to stock up on cornbread for next year, LOL!!! Congrats on the Raiders for a great job this season. 2008 CLIFTON YOUTH FOOTBALL SENIOR TEAM (#2 GARRETT, #6 SHANE) 2008 CLIFTON YOUTH FOOTBALL FRESHMAN TEAM (#6 STEVIE & TAYLOR CHEERLEADER 2ND FROM LEFT)
