THe front gate is being left open. Make sure to lock the front gate upon entering & leaving the property. Be advised that anyone caught letting non-members in without following proper procedures will be subject to losing membership privileges. Non-members must be accompanied as a guest of a member and also must fill out a guest form with the sponsoring members signature & key number and deposit $10 in the honor box as you enter the property. They are your guest and your responsibility while on the property. It is imperative that the guest form be filled out completely! It is not the person that gets hurt that will sue us, it is their insurance company that will take us to court. Without the waiver filled out and signed, we don't have a leg to stand on and we are in jeopardy of losing our property. It is very important that everyone realize that we are a member owned club and as members we are all involved if we get sued. We can't let that happen just because of a simple piece of paper didn't get filled out and signed. Take care of what we have please and ensure these things are done.
By the way, the police, sherrif, fire dept, & EMS all have the combination to our lock on the front gate so that is not an excuse to leave it open.
Thanks!

Everyone! needs to get passionate about this. We can lose everything (I mean everything!) over this issue. Out equipment can be vandalized or stolen, not too mention the club can be sued if someone gets hurt.
Lets pull together and ensure this is no longer an issue!

way to go curtis! this has always been a problem. every club member has the right to ask another person on the property if they are a member. if they are not members, inform them as to how they can become members, record their name and pass that info on to jeff. if that person already is a member, get to know them a bit, you just might make a friend.
we need to follow the club rules jeff has posted here.

would it be possible to post a list of current members so we could print it and keep it in our vehical? that way when I ask if someone is a member I could check. I'm sure if someone is on the property illegally they would probably lie about being a member. Curt did you just ask to see thier key or did they tell you they were not members? Just asking incase i'm out there and someone says they are a member. How do you get them to prove it?
Also Cory Rodak is not on my membership as of Oct.'08.

Maybe it should be mandatory to have your current membership cards with you when coming out to the track, maybe tape it to the windsheild? I know that may not help identify guests, but it will help identify the member they are with. Just a suggestion! would it be possible to post a list of current members so we could print it and keep it in our vehical? that way when I ask if someone is a member I could check. I know I have asked others if they were members and I get this funny look, this was when we had the membership cards. He seemed a bit irritated with me, and then asked for mine, which I was more than happy to show.
Point is, please do not give people a hard time if they ask you if you are a member. They are just trying to protect the club, I am sure many of the members would ask me if I was a member if was out there today. I just haven't been able to be there much lately.

well randy,I usually introduce my self and tell them that the problem that we are having at the track with the non members 99% of the time you can tell if there a member or not,and just ask them if there members if they say yes just ask if you can see there key,if there members I never had a problem with a member THE BIGGEST THING IS BE NICE TO THE MEMBERS, AND NONMEMBERS I TREAT them like they treat me,if there polite well I give them every chance that I can,REMEMBER NON MEMBERS CAN NOT BE THERE WITH OUT A MEMBER AND A SIGNED FORM AND 10 DOLLARS,most of the time they think there to good to be there anyways..

Please clear up the ten dollar fee for guests. Is this for everyone that comes in the gate, or just the guest that would be riding on the prorerty.

Well let me no until then! Thanks Phillips # 512 See ya Sunday! , Hopefully! The ten dollar fee is for riding guests of members. In other words you must come in and leave with a current member and if you are riding you must fill out the form & pay. If you are not riding then you don't have to pay. That doesn't mean you don't have to pay if you are riding someone elses bike. Throw a leg on a bike, you gotta fill out the form & pay. I think I'm clear on this but if you have any questions feel free to ask. The forms are next to the drop box by the front gate, just lift the top of the clipboard and they are under there. You can also download the forms here www.wacoeaglesmc.com/pdf/nonmemberwaiver.pdf Jeff
