Saturday night we had two club members make a trip to the local hospitals, Billy Humphies (Providence) and Ryan Labrecque (Hillcrest). Both will be off the tracks for some time. Talked to Billy Sunday and he needs an MRI on his right knee, looks like an ACL issue. Billy #3 placed 1st Friday night and was on his was to achieving 1st again Saturday night.
Word from Ryan # 323, shattered his ankle. (the good one) He will be going this week to San Antonio, to have the first of probably three surgeries. Doctors are pretty sure that it will take at least a year for Ryan to walk proper again.
Another name that many will remember is Jason Montey. Jason lived in Waco and circled the Waco track till July of 03 when he moved to Lake Havasu AZ. This past Wednesday Feb. 2, Jason was riding and had a tragic accident. As of now Jason is paralyzed from the neck down. I will be collecting donations and working on something to raffle off. Jason will accrue a huge amount of medical charges.
Please keep these guys and their families in you thoughts and prayers.
If you know of another fallen rider, PLEASE let me know.

Billy Humphies, ACL was torn away from the bone, he is looking into the options.
Ryan Labrecque has undergone the first surgery and the second scheduled for this Thursday. Ryan in is good spirits & hopes to see us all this weekend. Ryan and Caitlin are very appreciative of everyone’s concern.
Jason Montey, Last Saturday word was there's not much change. I will be collecting donations and selling purple ribbon (purple, color of hope) to raise money to send to his family. Jason will accrue a huge amount of medical charges and this will be a way to help our fellow riders. Jason's Dad, Dean Montey was one time the president of the Waco Eagles and a very good and long time friend of many.

Thanks to everyone who put in the bucket for Jason Montey. We raised $160.00. If you didn't know, and to my surprise. Dean, Jason's Dad showed up at the track yesterday around 1:00. He tried to stay, but it was just to hard for him. I can only imagine the pain he suffers.
Please pray daily for Jason and his family.
