I just talked to Tim's wife Lori a few minutes ago. She said he is very lucky nothing is broke, but he is bruised up pretty bad. Doc says sometimes internal bruising and sprains can be more painful than broken bones. Lori wanted to thank everyone who helped Tim on the track and to those who helped her get the things loaded in the trailer. And a special thanks to the paramedic who was at the track and told her to call 911 when she headed out. She said it was great help.

Hello all,
Just wanted to let everyone know I'm doing okay. Very, very sore, but okay!! No broken bones, but it feels like someone beat me in the chest and shoulder with a baseball bat!
I appreciate all the help you guys gave us on Sunday. It means alot knowing there are folks out there willing to help a fellow rider.
Curt, you're right, I should have never tried that double. I tried in practice, and nearly crashed then. I guess my competitive side came out when #10 passed me. Lesson learned! I just have to remember I'm riding for fun and exercise!!
Thanks again to everyone. I hope to be back and riding before the next Waco race.
Tim #40

Hang in there Tim. We were on the line when you went down. Glad to hear your upright and ready to battle again. Doubles are my worst fear, hell I roll every one of them!
Get well and see ya at the track!

Too bad you weren't sporting a helmet cam!! That would have been pretty cool! I don't remember to much beside thinking "this is going to hurt"!!
I think we're going to the track tomorrow evening, so Lori can practice. I'll talk her into racing. She did say my racing days are over. I told her she was right...at least for this week!!! I think I'll be okay for the next Waco race. I'll just have to see.
Thank's again to everyone. We really appreciated it!!
Tim
