Just heard from Leann, Kenny's wife. Xrays, cat scan and MRI all came back okay, but his spinal cord is bruised and the tissue around it is swollen - the swelling is what was causing the lack of grip in his hands after the wreck. They are keeping him overnight for observation and until pain is under control, but he should be able to go home tomorrow. Leeann said to tell everyone who helped-thanks!!!

I just got off the phone with Kenny. He's still in the hospital, and will be there a couple of days. He is however feeling much better. He has the feeling back in his arms and hands, but the pain is still pretty intense. He did say he would be back racing at next months race. He also said, and this came from him Curt, not me...that he "wasnt' going to let a little pain and discomfort keep him from racing like Curt"!! ;D Ouch!! Even I'm not that mean!! Of course, that may just be the morphine talking!!! Shall we admit Kenny in to the smack talking group!! Anyway, he's doing better and should be home in a couple of days. Tim
