Timm Luecher was injured Friday at the HOT races. He was racing the over 30 class and had a hard landing after crossing the finish line. He broke both ankles and found out yesterday he will have to have surgery to repair the damage. I can not remember his number off of the top of my head but he rides a KTM.
His surgery will be Friday at Scott & White in Temple.

Thanks We had surgery on both feet, I had broke the "Taluis Taylor neck bone" in both. The right one has 4 screws, 1 pin, 1 plate and a bone grapht from my lower leg. The left has 2 screws and a lot of bone fragments that needed to be removed. Other than that I have tostay off them for the next 4 to 6 months, pretty much confined to a wheelchair.

We had a follow up visit with the Ortho surgeon in Temple Wed., and he said everything is looking good, he wanted to start doing some movement in the feet and toes to keep them from stoving up, Valerie has removed the stitches from both ankles and everything seems fine, we have started some stretching and a little physcical therapy here at the house. It will still proably be 5 to 6 months before I am able to put weight let alone walk on them. I am proably looking at Jan. 08 before I can start riding again. Thanks everybody for your concern, but it sounds like we have another vet rider down with some serious injuries, I don't know if it was Jay King or who ever but I wish them a speedy recovery.
