I know he was the official "Grounds Inspector" in the vet b class Sunday. I heard a fractured wrist, dislocated shoulder and something about a collar bone.

This is the "Grounds Inspector's" wife. Tim has a black eye, dislocated shoulder and cracked collar bone (left shoulder), stitches (left hand), severely sprained wrist (right hand) and some pretty impressive looking bruises and scrapes on both knees. Lots of little black and blue places appearing here and there as well. His biggest threat right now is from his wife should he decide to ride again before he heals. Tim said after his thorough ground inspection he believes some softening of the ground on the track should be seriously looked into.

Tim said after his thorough ground inspection he believes some softening of the ground on the track should be seriously looked into. It does absolutely no good at all to soften the ground when Tim insists on repacking it like he did Sunday. I was about 2 bike lengths behind him when it happened and all I have to say it that though his get off looked a little whimpy, his bike flipping wildly over the berm was the most spectacular aerobatics I've ever seen a bike do. Heal up Tim, the vets are starting to thin out quickly. We need you there. ps, have you thought about joining another team? Curt's "Bagger Racing" may not be the best thing to happen in a racers carreer

Heal up fast, Tim! Keep the Advil bottle close at hand! Wow - Lori can run - I saw the bike flipping through the air and started running that way and she passed me like I was standing still! ;D

.....and lee moving up to beg 2..... This is terrible! How did this happen? There must have been a misunderstanding. No problem, though, we'll straighten this out at next race. Lee was bumped, but not to Beg 2. He was bumped to Vet B. ;D

Hey all, Thanks for all the kind (and not so kind) words!! Jeff, you are a riot. One thing I would like to suggest, besides softening the ground, is to add some flavor to the dirt. After face planting, I had a mouth full of dirt, and it wasn't to tasty! ;D I hope to be back riding soon. My wife is going out of town this weekend, and has threatened my life if I go riding! But, what she doesn't know won't hurt her...right?? It looks like I'm going to have to replace my helmet. I did a little more than scratch it it...Curt I don't think the foam is supposed to be crushed flat on the inside. On a serious note...If you're riding without knee guards... stop! My knees are very sore and bruised, but had I not been wearing the knee guards, I have no doubt my knees would have been shattered. They are well worth the investment. Again, thanks to everyone for helping me out. Besides my shoulder hurting, my wrist hurting, my knees hurting and my eye hurting, I feel GREAT!! I can't wait to get back out there. And please everyone...give Curt some sympathy. After all he did crash too! Thanks... Tim
