I know there are a lot of stuff you can add to a bike. There's no telling how much I have done to mine. There are some that are good and some that should not be bought. Here are some that I think are a must:
Wider foot pegs and extended shift lever- my feet wouldn't stay put on the stockers and I couldn't get my boot (size 11) under the shifter.
Unbreakable levers- I have ASV's but I know there are others. I bent the triple clamps and sub stabilzer mount about a year ago and have had numerous other wipeouts but haven't broken a lever. I broke the stock ones on the second ride.
Skid plates- keep rocks from damaging engine cases
Steering Stabilizer- Really worth the money. Smooths out the track and landings from jumps (no head shake)
Carb mods- Jd jet kit and power surge plus Boyesen accelerator pump cover and fuel screw (4 strokes). Made the bike pull out of corners harder.
The rest I could probably do without but I have to look good riding so slow.
I would stay away from a rear brake guard that only replaces the stock plastic piece. If you fall on it it will break the mounting tab on the brake carrier (at least on the Hondas). If you get one get the type that replace the entire carrier. I found out the hard way.
Just thought I'd share.
