Anyone know of any huge differences between the wr250 and the yzf250 (2004's)? I imagine the motor has a different power curve. gearing may be a little lower. I found a 04 wr250 That has alot of stuff i like done to it....Besides the pink graphics.

one thing i would have to think of is the wr probably weighs more than the yzf and the wr has a larger gas tank too. i have an 06 yzf250. very nice, easy to manage power. good woods bike.

06's are sweet, allot of changes from 04 & 05. Tons of power out of the box. With a few mods they will keep up with the 450's. Plus Yellow is just a cool color!

Really i was looking for reviews and the one on the 07 says the 06's werent that great, but didint specify. I know the 07's have an aluminum frame. But awesome thanks. Im just a little weary for some reason. He said his mechanic just put a crank in it. And i was reading his post ande he didin't tell me it was ported and had a high compression piston in it. Im going to look at it tomorrow though. And will probally buy it Cuz I dont know how to say no. You could sell me salt in the desert.

Our Daniel has an 07' my brother has a 06'. Daniel has beat his to the ground (literally), that bike gets crashed every moto!! My bro just came from the desert and rode the crap out of it. I rode his 06' today and had a blast. Sweet handling bike even without the aluminum frame.
