everytime someone falls certain people want to solw the speed down. this is not exactly a safe sport. it can be dangerous. duh When the 1st couple of people got hurt I chaulked it up to, "Oh well, it's gonna happen." When 6 people got hurt in a week in the same section, it was time to do something with it. Jeff is working hard and I for one appreciate it. In addittion to fixing the section before the finishline, Jeff will soon be working on the Camel's back. The Camels Back is worn to the point that the faster riders are landing on a shelf thus landing flat and bouncing over the last part of the landing. This will take tons of dirt to fix because after getting the jump fixed riders will hit it faster therefore it can not be any shorter. I too very much do not like the section after the finish line. That section is long and a gradual turn which is bad. For those of you that are new to the club that section used to have the biggest jump on the property. That section was also straight until after the crappy little riser. People constantly running the inside line has actually moved the track to the left enough to create the existing turn.

I too appreciate Jeff's relentless work, we all better be glad to have him. One thing is for certain, the track or maybe the people riding are getting faster. The Vet class, this last race was one of the fastest I ever road out there, and hell Tony wasn't even there to push me??? Ha Ha. Whatever is done Safety has to be first, no one likes to see folks laying on the ground.
