Everyone, as most know I am a stickler for bike prep and maintenance. For the most part I overdue it! However, one of the most neglected items on a bike are the steering stem bearings. One of Gage's 07's simply locked up!! No warning, no noise etc..., we washed it and went to move it and Bam! Imagine if he would have been riding it. Grease all your bearings, even the ones that are a pain in the A$$ to get to!

don miller had the same thing happen to him on his 06 yz450. when he got off the bike and went to load it in the truck, bike wouldnt steer. had to have the bearings replaced. keep in mind, on those alumnium framed bikes they may require special tools or know-how to replace.

Flea had trouble with his at Freestone. We took them out just last week. Sounds like it was catching and we gave it to you. Now if we can find out who gave it to us?
