We just got a TTR 225. Does anyone ride or race one? This is our first 4 stroke. I realize it rides way different than a 2 stroke. Anyone have any tips, suggestions or any info on this bike, we'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

The TTR's are pretty bullet proff. Just keep the oil changed and filter clean. Have fun!

You won't find much as far as high performance parts for the bike (like BBR stuff). You may be able to find some information on ThumperTalk about what modifications others have made to their TTR 225

Yeah, I checked that out. Lots of good info on the TTR's. In the near future we'll be changing out the forks for either 100 or 125 forks. Not sure yet what years & models will work. I saw on there where one guy used YZ125 forks & it raised it quite a bit. That concerns me a bit, just got rid of a tall bike, don't need another one, LOL!!! I feel a bit more comfortable when both my feet can touch the ground with ease. Since my knee injury, I'm finding it a little hard keeping from re-injuring it again. I've already laid our RM125 over several times cause I can't hold it up real good with my bad knee & having short legs doesn't help either. I don't know if we'll change the suspension. The way I ride, I don't know if that will be that big of a deal. We'll keep researching & see what we come up with. Thanks!
