Obviously, you missed the important points of the article. Yes, no smoke, but using the injector increased power and smoothed out the power over the whole RPM range. So no sudden hit from the powerband. It has more of a 4 stroke feel. With lower emissions, lower db than a 4 stroke, and less weight.

It has more torque too! But it's a whole new motor setup pretty much. It's really good to see forward movement on engine design.
