Hey everyone... I'm Rob and I just moved to the area and I am completely lost as to where to ride and the District 41 area. I have been here for a whole 2 days and just got my race trailer unloaded and the bike out... only you guys have gotten a retarded amount of rain in the past week or so. I am in Burleson and looking for places to ride. If there is anyone that would like to ride, or just help a new guy find places to ride, I would be greatly appreciative.

There's good news for you. There are a lot of tracks within a couple of hours from you, and there a quite a few riders in your area. We (this forum and track) is not your typical hardcore moto head type of place, we are a club that's been here since 1934, BUT we do race motocross once a month. We are private facility all the other days on the month but for the price of a membership you and you family can ride those other days. You can learn about us on our main website www.wacoeaglesmc.comBurleson has it's own MX track and they race 2 times a month. Their track is an "old school" mx track with the best dirt, just lacks on crazy obsticals. There forum is burlesonmx.proboards.com/index.cgi?Couple of miles from Burleson you have Village Creek, day and night track. www.villagecreekmx.com/South you'll find Lake Whitney but they run only a few times a year and you'd better get out your wallet. www.lakewhitneymx.com/North you have Nacona, TMX, Badlands and more. Southeast there is Freestone National track and night track. www.freestonemx.com/East there is Swan in Tyler, and in Houston there is 3-palms and way south there is cycle ranch.

WOW... now that is impressive! THANK YOU! The fact you guys try to promote your track and you are willing to help me find places to ride instead of trying to sell your track, makes me want to join! You guys are my type of people! THANK YOU AGAIN! It is alot different up north... all cut throat and that "everyone for themselves attitude." I have a 14 year old and he is starting to show intrest and has never been on 2 wheels except his BMX bike. So this might be a nice place to get him started. Do you allow someone to look at the track without a bike... just to look? Thank you again and hope to see you soon... going to look at the membership now... ;D

The Waco club is a volunteer operated and member owned facility, no one here gets a paycheck. Perhaps that's what makes us different. Many of our members ride the other tracks but most consider this one home. It's a fun place and we've had several great riders get started here. Our goal is family environment and we are all neighbors in that respect. When the weather is good we have many members that come camp and spend the weekend riding. We all watch out for one another. We will be racing MX on the 21st of this month, come down, bring you bike and race with us. We usualy close the track on Saturday to prep for Sundays races but that doesn't mean you can't check it out or even camp that night. Camping is free.
