True story
Once long ago during practice some of the Faster Kids discovered that they could cut a corner short by jumping part of the track and landing on the outside of the corner. Our race director at the time was asked about the maneuver before a race and he replied. Well you start on the track and you end on the track without cutting the track so I see no reason you can't do it. It was done during the race and it caused an uproar so the Race Director told this guy that it caused too many bad feelings and he would have to disqualify him if he did it again. After telling him this the Race Director told him "Honestly though that was the smoothest move I saw in a long time."
Any idea who that Race Director may have been?
Lee has hinted he would like to get another Bike but really wanted to trail ride and said he really did not need a full race bike because he wasn't going to be jumping much. Yeah Right
Kind of like a rabbit chasing Hound, until he sees that white tail he really has honorable intentions!!
He is now playing Baseball on the Sophmore Boys team and he is still short and in Jr High.
The Motorcycles taught him some lessons in Sportsmanship he could not have gained any other way.
