Hey guys the Kawasaki bio degradable air filter oiling and cleaning kit I won at the play day last year destroyed the glue on two of my new Uni air filters. If you have used it on an air filter you better pull it and check it, I was lucky that it destroyed the air filters in my garage and not the one on my bike.

I think the bio degradable stuff may be made by No-Toil. If I were you I'd find out, if it is I bet No-Toil will replace your air filters, they have in the past. No-Toil works with their brand & Twin Air I believe.

The bottle does say it is manufactured by NO-TOIL. Should I try to get Bargers to help since it Kawasaki or try to contact No-Toil.

Interesting, I let my girlfriend wash her UNI airfilter the otherday and it fell apart also. Yet my cheap-one time use Ready Filter didn't fall apart when using the same cleaner.

watch out with those 'ready filters'. they say one time use, they mean it. you can get away with 2 or 3 uses, but i wouldnt push it.
no toil does work with Twin Air, but i didnt like the no toil oil.
just my opinion.

no toil does work with Twin Air, but i didnt like the no toil oil. just my opinion. No-Toil is a controversial product. Many people don't like it but I've been using it exclusively for more than 10 years with -0- complaints. I will say that you must follow the directions!! Make sure the filter is clean and all the way dry, apply liberal amounts of oil (I use an empty sports water bottle filled with the oil and use the nipple to apply thoroughly and squeeze out the excess, (don't wring out the filter)). Allow it to dry completely so the alcohol carrier will evaporate before use. It is extremely tacky. I keep a clean oiled filter in a zip-loc baggy ready to use.

No-Toil was very nice their general manager called me and explained that Uni-Filter uses a very low grade of glue to hold their filters together with.
