An update. The "Doc" cart-wheeled a few times over the finish line jump at Freestone National track a couple of months ago, banging his head and messing up his shoulder. Since then he's experienced some memory issues and intermittent problems with a few other funcions such as balance and such. He checked in to Providence Hospital just before our last Waco race and a CT scan revealed he was having some bleeding in his brain. They did a couple of surgeries and things are now looking good. He was released from the hospital Tuesday and is resting at home. He sends his appreciation to everyone's thoughts and prayers. Here's a picture the day he was released from the hospital. Notice he is wearing the autographed jersey we all signed and is also sporting a new haircut.
