Hey Jeff there is a post from last years arenacross is it still pretty much the same this year and is any vets riding this year I know Doug and I are going to sign up. I haven't made up my mind if I'm riding this year or not. If I do it will be on Saturday. A couple of years several of us "older guys" put together a class of haz-bens' that just want to ride the event and still make it to work the following Monday. We had a strict agreement of the obsticals that were allowed to maintain a safety margin and had a blast doing it. We all went home safe except Mike Haines who chose not to follow the agreement. He hasn't riden a dirt bike bike since. If anyone is interested in doing it this way it will take 5 to make a class.

My educated guess is that the track will be pretty good Sunday if we don't get rain. I was out and walked the "parameter" of the track about 10:30 last night, there was still water running down the hill and the drive was unpassable. With the sun & wind today it should have dried out a lot, I'm probably going to go back out tonight and take another look. I can tell you that the track was very soft last night, you can feel (where you can walk) the ground wiggle under your feet. It's like a sponge. I was hoping to do some jump refaciing before the races but I don't know if it'll dry enough in time to allow the work before the weekend. As of last night I'm predicting that the track will not be open for riding before the races Sunday but I could be wrong. I'll update after I look tonight.
