Hello! We are thinking of coming out to the races this weekend, we have never been and I have a few questions..
I have a son who is 7 riding a 50cc, he has only been riding a few months and has only raced in one race, which was a cross country race, I was wondering if this track is good for beginners and what the rules are. What class would he ride in? How long is the race? Any and all information would be greatly appreciated!!

What bike does he have? Depends on if he's on a Jr or Sr size. I would probably say the 50 Jr class. You can ask at sign in to be sure though. Yeah, this track is a good starting place for sure for beginners. For the 50 classes, they usually run 3 laps & run the front section. There's a cut off that will be marked with cones. Hope that helps!

He can run the 50cc class and the 50 & 65cc over 7 years old class which is an open class. The track is very beginner friendly. You child will be within viewing distance the entire race and we have flaggers and a medic on site, plus there are a couple of doctors that are members and usualy are there too. All the rules are covered during the short riders meeting before the race, plus we have the Christian Motorcycle Club do a short 5 minute or so service immediately following the riders meeting if you are interested. The kids like to get thier bikes blessed and a sticky put on it. The entire race for the kids should only last about 15 minutes and they run 2 heats, one in 1st session and the other after our short break. We will outstanding food available at our concession stand so that is covered. If you are not a member the gate fee to get in is $6. each with 10 & under free. Race entry is $25. 1st class and $10 for subsequent classes. If you want to join the club, you will get 24/7 access plus a $5 discount on your 1st race entry class. I hope I have answered all your questions. I am headed to the track now for the weekend, I get to do some shredding and track prep before the races. In the event of bad weather, make sure to call the track recorder before you head out. 254-875-9955. Any updates will be posted on that. Gates open 7am Sunday. practice is at 8am, races at 9am
