well here goes......... I was appointed as the person to do this {run races} so I guess that means I get to be the one that takes the heat as long as I remain. First, If you go to any other track that dosent have a super mini class and you are riding one, you simply put the bike back in the truck and go home or plead with the promoter to allow it to be run with a 125 class of some sort. As far as letting it go on for the past year..... well the club has allowed some rule bending but frankly I am tired of it and all the hard feelings it creates. Heck I like being liked by everyone and who knows may someday even need you all as customers in this hometown of mine. Sooooooooo I have to consider the rules of racing when making this decision. Starting with the April race we will run an 85 open class as a normal class not just an extra if we have enough who want to run it, and if less than 3 sign up its load em up time and the class will not be run. I know we have always said 5 makes a class but Im doing what I think is best to try to keep everyone happy, remember some are complaining about how long the day is also.... AS FAR AS FOUR STROKE SMALL BIKES ARE CONCERNED we will begin another class called Four Stroke Mini Beginner. More information to come after further thought and discussion at this months meeting. Its improtant to remain focused on the fact that we are a family oriented, mainly beginner level organization so our program has to accomodate that fact. Through the years many skilled rider have gotten their start at Waco Eagles but they always seem to move on to the bigger tracks and series and that is a good thing, Adam Mennenga is a perfect example. Please help me to make our club the best it can be as it has always has been for our members. And that sonetimes is a give and take thing. Thanks, Mike
