Ron I hear they run together but are scored separate, is this true? From watching the Flea and Garrett run that 150, I don't think the riders on the 150 are on par with the 85s. The Flea said the 150 was like riding an 85 that never dropped out of the power band.

I do not believe they are scored separately?? In the 85 beginner there is only like 2 that run, they are not fast. In the 85 Novice, their is a few more, they are faster, but there is 2-3 kids on 85's that smoke em all.
I can tell you first hand the 150 is a ton easier to run like all 4-strokes are. Very forgiving unlike the 2-stroke. However it takes a while to really learn to ride a 4-stroke. I notice the Flea and Garrett shifting Curts like a 2 stroke. The shift and power curves for optimal performance are totally different. 4 strokes love to be short shifted, they are all about torque.
Jumping back & forth from a 2 smoker to a 4 stroke is really tough to do!

We will not be racing the 150, only riding and practicing till next year. If the rules change next year both 85cc bikes will be gone. and I will add an 08' 150. If the rules do not change he will run he age class on the 85's and the 150 in what ever. But don't worry Gage and Lee will get plenty of seat time on the 150 and you (Danny and Ron) will get plenty of nag time from your boys to get them one!! We are friends for right!!!
