"getting keys"...we were at the track this past weekend (we were riding as paid non-members) when another member told us that they hadn't got their key either and they'd been waiting for quite some time, I'm thinking that maybe Jeanine has taken on more than she can handle, it seems like she has a hard time getting the memberships together all by herself and its getting to her too I know this after seeing her this weekend because when we finally seen her this past weekend we were ready to purchase a membership up until how irate she was to me and my family (she literally jumped down my throat and I've never been treated that badly before)...let me explain; One time when we were on our way to the track we called her to see if she could meet us out there and she said she'd try but might not sure she can make it that particular day so we waited and she didn't show so we just rode as paid non members for that day and we'd just miss each other a few times and so on and so on, so obviously there was trouble getting together with her...so when she showed up this past weekend I was glad to see her and we were ready to pay for a membership, but when she approached us she started right in on all of us saying this is going to stop you either HAVE to get a membership or leave...we told her we were ready to buy one and she was still being irate so we just decided to pay for that one day of riding and definately decided that we were no longer interested in a membership anymore after that. There are better ways of handling things than to just attack, like..... hey how are y'all doing? are y'all ready to purchase that membership now? I've got the paperwork with me. (if she'd approached us in that manner, she would have had a membership in her hands that very day, but not in the manner she approached us). I think the world of Jeff and everyone else that we know at Waco Eagles, but y'all need to try coming up with some other way of handling the memberships (just a suggestion)! Michelle, Jeanine started doing the memberships in 2006, before that Paula handled them. Both Paula & Jeanine have done an outstanding job with the memberships. I can't tell you how many trips Jeanine has made to the track to drop off keys and take a membership. There have been many days that she has made 3 or 4 different trips to the track on the same day to meet people. People come to her work, her home, and call her all hours of the day & night. She's always happy to do a favor. Remember that she gets nothing for her efforts, not even a cent for gas. Membership to this club is not a right, it's a privilege. I know who pays & who doesn't. There are 2 keys to the drop box, I have one and Jeanine has the other. You and I know that you haven't been paying, we check it very often. We have even made arrangements for you & your family to purchase your membership through Chip Munn using your revolving account so it would be easier for you. You never followed through. As a club, we have been very lax on enforcing the rules for trespassers but due to recent events, that is going to change. In order to be fair, we will not discriminate or favor. Anyone that is not a member and does not sign a release and deposit $10 per rider, per day, will be treated as a trespasser. We may indeed be just a club but we are treated by the IRS as a business. We also have expenses like any other business. In order for us to remain in business we have to be run like one. That means we must enforce the rules. Due to the history the club has experienced with the Brumbles over the past several years, I am putting this on this public forum for all to witness. You and your family will not be welcome, or allowed to use the Waco Eagles Motorcycle Club facilities until you purchase a membership. This club is filled with good people and I certainly invite your family to join us. This is the right thing to do and will eliminate any further incidences. I do appreciate your kind words toward me at the end of your post. You can either contact me or Jeanine should you decide to become a member. Jeff Jeff, It may have just been a bad day for Jeanine, I don't know, but if someone had done you like this you would not have liked it very much either. But anyways, I wanted to let you know that that time we had discussed with Dan and you about going through Munn.... well after that very day there wasn't anything further said, so I thought that at that time we had the membership through them so that was a misunderstanding/miscommunication and that's why you seen us out there riding shortly after that, sorry for that misunderstanding there will be no more of those! Dale wanted me to let you know that if we go ahead and get a membership that he will go through you. Oh and while your mentioning the history with the Brumble's, let's not forget the good part, you know that we've brought many riders to Waco Eagles over the years, we helped keep that track busy too. (-: Well, we'll be in touch Jeff, its people like you that make the track a nice place to come to! The Brumble Family

I'm not calling anyone a bad person by any means, I hope you understand that. These days it takes everyone of us to keep this thing going. It's not like it was when you & I first joined Waco, it's grown. When I 1st joined, I could come out & ride. Now it's a full time job for several of us and a lot of the people don't see that part. I'm not complaining, I like doing my part for the club. I appreciate everything that our club is, as well all the things our members do for the club. Waco is an investment in future generations to come, it takes everyone to pitch in to keep us going. A family membership cost less than .27 cents per day. It's not very much, agree? Tell Dale to email me when yall get ready & I'll hook you up. Keep in mind that we are more than half way through our membership year so if today you were to join it will cost you $100. for a year, plus $10. per month added for the remaining months left in this membership period making your renewal date June 1, 2010. The total would be $140.

Wow... dont know the whole story on this case, but I can tell you Jeanine Davis is a pillar. She is one of a handful, that give "HER" time to make Waco Eagles stay open and function. Jeanine is there to lend a hand during those behind the scene times that most member's and non-members take for granted. I have seen her bend over back-wards to help folks out.
I have very few hero's in this day and age, however Jeanine is definitely is at the top of my short list!

You can print out the form ahead of time to save filling it out when you see Jeanine. 24.167.23.119/pdf/membershipapp.rtfYou need to call 254-717-4811 That's Jeanine's phone and she does our memberships. She will collect your form & give you a key.
