Does anyone know of any other makers planning on a 150F? KTM should make one.
I almost want a Big wheel one with mods. I just need to get my 250F suspension done and stick with a 250 I guess. I would look silly being 20 on a 150 lol I wanna ride one though! How are they on power?

He said there is no plans in the near future from KTM. Also that none of the Jap mnfg to release one anytime soon. As far as how are the CRF150R on power, it's a rocket ship!

Here is the latest dirt, from Dirt Rider. I aslo spoke to the Yamaha sales rep last week, he states it will probably be a 125f, to be eligible to run in the 85 class. A NEW YAMAHA THUMPER? Another interesting rumor floating around is that Yamaha might be throwing its hat into the mini 4-stroke market with a new thumper for the 85 class. But instead of trying to rewrite the rules, like Honda did with their 150F, Yamaha is rumored to be building a bike within the 4-stroke rule for the 85 class. That rule permits 125cc 4-strokes to compete with 85cc 2-strokes.Years ago Yamaha was testing a preproduction YZ150F, but they were reluctant to go into full production with the bike, since there wasn’t a class for it. Then Honda broke ranks when they introduced their CRF150 and sparked a huge controversy over allowing the OEMs to drive the rules of the sport. Soon after, Yamaha put their 150F on the shelf. At the time, our sources at Yamaha told us that a 150cc engine was the only way to be competitive against the current crop of 85s and there were no plans to produce a 125cc 4-stroke for the 85 class--as the rules allow. It’s no secret that all the OEMs want to faze out their 2-stroke lines and concentrate all their efforts on 4-stroke development. That includes the minibikes. With that said, Yamaha is rumored to be producing a YZ125F. While we have no confirmation from anyone at Yamaha on this, and probably wouldn’t get one until it was close to being released, it is a forward thinking move on their part.In the not-too-distant future the “85 class” could be split into two different categories to allow for the introduction of more 4-strokes. A 125cc 4-stroke class structure for riders 7-11 and a 150cc category for riders 12-16. If this is the path mini racing follows, and Yamaha does, in fact, release a 125F it will inevitably lead to them bringing out a 150F as well. Go ahead Gage Drool..............................

Gage and Ron
The Flea is asking to race this Sunday. After two months off his bike, I hope he does not push it too hard.
If Yamaha comes out with that 125 Lee will be on one. For right now he is stuck with his old, tired, and weak YZ 85.
On that note if yall get to Waco early enough the Flea's team will be playing a Team from the Austin area at Paul Tyson field which is right behind the Coliseum at 6:30 PM on Saturday. Both teams are undefeated so this should be a good one. Our rules are a little different which allows for larger players than our normal league but our pudgy little guys should do fine.

Ty absolutely loves his 2008 CRF150R. I think that it has made him a little lazy though. He will be 13 in May 09. I guess when he turns 14 in May 2010, I will buy him a CRF250R and Austin can have is 08 150. The only issue is Andrew. He will be 4 on January 1st 2009 and I dont want another KTM or Cobra 50!!!! Any suggestion? ?
