It's not completely dry, but it's very close. I just came from the track. Was there for around 2 1/2 hrs. It lightly drizzled on, and off for about an hr total, and was really tacky! There are still a few wet places on the track, but nothing too wet to ride. Play Day is gonna be great! Bring your bike and your appetite!

The top of my foot is bruised, For some reason my bike wouldent start at the drag race. it was kinda embaraskin. And then after it was over it started on like half a kick. Mebbe there are some tricks to it i need to get used to. I like my bike, i keep missing shift's though. Im just now getting used to shifting with my toe. I had to shift with my heel for along time due to a prior injury...Im also getting horrible head shake on the back section. the rear suspension is soft i love it but the front is hard as heck...that's the end of my book.

There are rituals to starting 4-strk's, you'll get used to it. The head shake is probably due to the bike not being set up properly for your weight. Put your bike on a stand with the real wheel off the ground and measure the distance from a point on yoour rear axle. Take the bike off the stand and without any weight on it, measure the distance from the same points, you should have about an inch less on your measurements. The next step you'll have to have someone help you. With all your gear on (for weight) sit on the bike with your feet on the pegs, bounce up & down a couple of times then have your helper hold the bike up with you on it and measure the distance from the same 2 points, you should have about a 4" sag (100mm). The exact measurements vary for rider preference but that is your baseline. The front in shaking is cause by the rear sag not being correct either due to misadjustment or too stiff of springs. Typically the lower you run your forks in the triple clamp the more high speed stability you will have however it will make your bike not turn as quick. Start with about 10mm of the fork tubes sticking above the triple clamps. Make sure not to tighten the lower clamps so tight that you cause stiction. Here is a good artical on suspension tuning. Actually setting the sag was the first thing I checked it's already at 1 inch of droop from on the stand to off the stand. Im not getting four inches from on stand to loaded but id have to change springs to get that. But anyway i actually like the rear. I just need to do something to the front. Ill do something im not 'tarted just need to take time to do it. As far as starting i roll it around to the compresion stroke then kick it. Someone enlightened me on what that lever was above my clutch lever today lol. I had assumed it was a hot start lever. My assumptions were right I dunno sometimes it idles high. sometimes it dosent. I was under the assumption that if the idle was to high it would be hard to start, and dont touch the throttle when you start it. ANYWAY my foot is swollen and purple.
